Established on April 29, 2022, the Amamoto & Shiraishi Africulture Centre (Located in Izunokuni-shi, Shizuoka, Japan; Representative: Saori Isogai) aims to carry our its Mission to "Enhance Humanity through Art" to realize the Vision of "A Diverse & Inclusive World for All Art".  We aim to disseminate dynamic African art, music, films and other forms of art through our activities, including African art exhibitions, Griot music performances, information sharing from the Africulture Times, introduction of the collection, lectures, and international exchanges.

In 2025, the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) will be held, which we hope will be a good opportunity for even more people to experience the richness of all forms of African expressions, born of a time span beyond imagination, persistent evolution and resilience from historical trade, and diaspora aesthetics.
